Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

Draft — pending owner review before publishing.

This Cookie Policy explains how Proximo Ads LLC ("Próximo Ads," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on proximoads.com, our client dashboard (the "Portal") and our mobile app. In this policy, we call all of these technologies "cookies."

Some cookies collect personal information, such as your IP address, browser and device type and how you use our website. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle that information. Questions? Email hello@proximoads.com.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser to remember information, such as your login or your preferences, and to help us understand how the site is used.

Local storage works like a cookie but stays in your browser; we use it to remember your shopping cart.

Pixels (also called tags or web beacons) are small pieces of code that tell a service that a page was viewed or an email was opened.

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them. First-party cookies are set by us; third-party cookies are set by another company (such as Google) at our request.

When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you Accept all, Reject all or Customize your choice by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. We set only essential cookies until you choose, and analytics and marketing tools do not load unless you allow them.

You can change your mind anytime by clicking Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. We save your choice for 12 months and will ask again if we add new categories or tools.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out: analytics and marketing cookies stay off, even if you click "Accept all." Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.

3. Categories of cookies we use

  • Essential: needed for the site to work, such as keeping your cart, logging in to the Portal, security and remembering your cookie choice. These are always on.
  • Functional: remember preferences and power optional features such as embedded live chat.
  • Analytics: help us understand which pages are visited, for how long and whether errors occur, so we can improve the site. Used only with your consent.
  • Marketing: help us measure our own ad campaigns and show relevant ads on other platforms. Used only with your consent.

We use Google Consent Mode, so Google tags respect your choice. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. For more on how Google uses data, see Google's privacy policy. For Meta, see Meta's cookie policy.

6. Emails

Our marketing emails may contain pixels that tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked, so we can make our emails more useful. You can avoid this by turning off automatic image loading in your email app or by unsubscribing.

7. Other ways to control cookies

Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies in their settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site (such as the cart or Portal login) from working. Learn more at allaboutcookies.org. Privacy browsers and extensions (such as Privacy Badger, DuckDuckGo, Ghostery or uBlock Origin) can also block third-party trackers. These choices apply only to the browser and device where you make them.

8. Changes to this policy

We review this policy regularly and whenever we add or remove a tool. We will update the date above and, for new categories or tools, ask for your consent again.
